A statement of boards, council, committees and other bodies constituted as its part

6.1  Information of Boards, Councils, Committees and Other Bodies related to the public authority:

Implementation of Policy

The Corporation implements its schemes through State Channelising Agencies (SCAs) nominated by respective State Govts/UT Administrations.  The SCAs are independent organisation of the concerned State Govts.  Most of SCAs are registered under the Companies Act, 1956 and some are under the Societies Act.  SCAs are having their Head Office at State Capitals and their field offices at Distt. level.  Identification and selection of beneficiaries, approval of Project, disbursement of loan and its utilization and recovery from beneficiaries are done by State Channelising Agencies through their field offices.  SCAs are required to hold the meeting of their Boards/Councils as per their bylaws governed under the Act.  MD, NBCFDC or his nominee is Director on the Board of Directors of many of SCAs.
