1.9 Expectation
of the public authority from the public for enhancing its
effectiveness and efficiency.
Corporation’s expectation from the
public is as under:
The Corporation is an enterprise under Social
sector. The main objective of the Corporation is to promote
economic and developmental activities for the benefit of people of
backward classes living below double the poverty line by way of
concessional loans on lower rate of interest for setting up units
for self employment. The loans are given to eligible
beneficiaries through State Channelising Agencies nominates by
respective State Govts/UT Administrations. It is expected from
the beneficiaries to do their work on full dedication honesty and
upgrade their standard of living and repay the loan timely so that
other may also be given the benefit of the Scheme by recycling of
funds. By this means maximum number of target group can be
covered.

participation/contribution:
Public participation is in the:
· Parliamentary
Consultative and Standing Committee for monitoring of Schemes,
· Parliamentary
Standing Committee for implementation of Official Language.
· Independent
Directors on the Board.
· Advisory
Committee of Official Language of the Ministry.
1.11 Mechanism
available for monitoring the service delivery and public
grievance.
The Corporation conduct Evaluation Studies
from time to time in the States through independent
accredited agencies in order to have close monitoring of the
ongoing schemes of NBCFDC.
